Hands that dig, walk and place
-
Dig and mine
A shovel digs, a pickaxe swings forward and an axe chops from the side. Each one has a start, a loop and an end.
-
Walk and sprint
Your arm sways as you walk and swings as you sprint, and it lags a little behind when you turn the camera.
-
Place blocks
Your hand reaches out as you set a block down, like these torches placed at night.

Press I to inspect
Punchy! turns the sword in your hand so you can look it over, and pickaxes have an inspect of their own. You can change the key in the game’s controls.

More on YouTubeWorks with Better Combat
Press F8 to open Punchy!’s menu, then turn on Better Combat Support in the Compatibility tab.
With Better Combat installed, switch it on and Punchy! plays its own swings in first person, in place of Better Combat’s attack animation.
It stays off until you turn it on. Packs can give each weapon its own combo of up to six swings.
From swords to lanterns
Nine animations as they look in the game. They play one at a time, and you can press any of them to see it now.

75 packs and mods
The animations come from a resource pack. Punchy! ships with its own, and other packs change it or add to it. Our collection on Modrinth lists 71 by other creators and 4 of our own.
Make your own animations
Every animation Punchy! plays is a file in a resource pack, so you can make your own with any of these three and watch it play in game.
